You'd think that nobody had ever learned from the fact that Scrappy Doo was the most annoying and ruinous part of Scooby Doo when he debuted at the end of the 70s. He should have killed off the idea of having annoying family member side-kicks entirely, thanks to his special brand of eye-gouging frustration.

But Superman IV ignored all that and brought in a sidekick for Lex Luthor - nephew Lenny - who was played by future Two And A Half Men star Jon Cryer, just a year after his definitive role as Duckie in Pretty In Pink. He's pretty much as forgettable in it as every other silly little detail, even though watching him back you have to wonder how he continued to enjoy a career.
