Pitch: Point Blank meets The Edge Cast & Crew: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (Dir), Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Will Poulter & Domhnall Gleeson Plot: 19th Century fur trapper Hugo Glass (DiCaprio) is mauled by a bear while hunting. His friends (Hardy, Poulter, Gleeson) decide to rob him and leave him to die in the snow but when Glass recovers he sets out for revenge at all costs. Reasons to Be Excited: Plenty. You've got Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu making his first film since the excellent Birdman directing Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy in a tough revenge thriller. It does have a relatively low budget ($60 million) and economic plot but expect this lean mean thriller to continue DiCaprio's hot streak and put people off hiking in the mountains for a good while.
