15 Awesome Batman Characters We Still Haven’t Seen On Film

7. Harvey Bullock

If you€™re a comic book fan and you know who Harvey Bullock is, you might have initially thought that he was featured in Nolan€™s Dark Knight franchise played by Mark Boone Junior (I certainly did, up until recently in fact). But no, Boone Junior actually played a rotund version of Detective Flass, whose main notable comic book appearance was in Frank Miller€™s seminal Batman: Year One. Although Bullock was initially a crooked cop, after causing Jim Gordon to have a near fatal heart attack he changed his ways. In my memory, Harvey Bullock, along with Renee Montoya who was his partner in the GCPD for many years, is one of the few cops in Gotham City who isn€™t actually corrupt. He€™s another character I always wish had been included in Nolan€™s run with the property, but alas, I guess there were enough characters to contend with without adding peripheral GCPD cops to the mix. However, I€™ve always thought the Batman movie franchise could use a more in-depth perspective on those characters in the Batman universe that are fighting the good fight without the benefit of a secret identity. You can€™t deny that the inclusion of Harvey Bullock to the proceedings (in conjunction with Renee Montoya of course) would serve to do just that.
