15 Awesome Batman Characters We Still Haven’t Seen On Film

14. Waylon Jones a.k.a Killer Croc

To my mind, Killer Croc is perhaps one of the greatest of the Batman villains yet to be included in a live action movie. Waylon Jones was born with a rare and bizarre skin disease called Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis (a disease that causes the skin to form scales). It€™s a real disease, but obviously it was exaggerated massively for the character; it not only gives him armour-like skin, but a keen sense of smell and the ability to breathe underwater for extended periods. Killer Croc has proved a consistently popular character in the Batman canon since his creation in 1983 and subsequent first full appearance in Batman #358; you might remember him from Rocksteady€™s Arkham Asylum video game, or from the recentish animated movie Batman: Gotham Knight. But perhaps criminally, were still yet to see him feature in a live action movie. I classify Killer Croc in the same banding as Bane (tanks whose strength Batman cannot match) although he€™s nowhere near as smart. As a result Croc would best be used in conjunction with another villain, perhaps as a devastating henchman. With the barrel of Batman movie villains getting shallower and shallower with each release, I actually reckon we€™re fast approaching Waylon Jones€™ time in the sun.
