15. The Huntress
The Huntress admittedly wasnt borne into Batman continuity (her first appearance was as a straight villainess in Sensation Comics #68) but over the years of her continued existence, shes slowly become attached to the Dark Knight mythology as a vicious superheroine vigilante operating primarily in Gotham City. The most recent version of The Huntress is Helena Bertinelli (sort of; its complicated) and you might have seen her crop up recently in her own shared line Birds of Prey as well as her eponymous 6-issue mini-series. Imagine if you will a sort of female Batman, except with a twist: shes not above killing her target. Despite Huntress being accepted as a heroin in the DC continuity since the mid- 80s Batman has always had one eye firmly on her, fearing that shes too unpredictable and violent (and thats coming from Batman so, you know) With the future of the Batman movie property uncertain at this point, Id love to see someone dust Huntress off and insert her somewhere into the movie continuity; perhaps as a love interest to Bruce Wayne or even Dick Grayson if hes also to be included (in the comics she and Grayson have actually had a relationship, so this makes perfect sense to me).
