14. Paris Hilton Gets Poled - House Of Wax

The producers of the 2005 House of Wax remake nobody asked for knew full well that the only reason anyone would really want to see it is to watch star Paris Hilton die, and so they literally promoted the movie on that basis, spoilers be-damned.

It's just as well, because the scene is at least the most enjoyable part of an otherwise atrocious remake, as Hilton's Paige is chased by the killer, who eventually gets the better of her.

She peeks her head up above a car, only for the killer to hurl a giant metal pole through the car window and into her head. This causes her to bounce backwards onto a metal fence and back down towards the ground, at which point the pole is pushed even further through her head for maximum audience satisfaction.

The gore, the practical effects and the general direction all add up to make this an unexpectedly terrific death scene.
