Which movie? Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire Where would it be in film? During the Yule Ball. What happens? Getting some fresh air from the Weird Sisters (clearly he was glad they were cut), Harry keeps interrupting amorous couples, then overhears Karkaroff trying to discuss the Dark Mark with Snape, although the latter seems more concerned with keeping the students in order. Should it have been cut? For fuelling the Snape mystery, this scene would have really added to the movie, building a greater sense of foreboding towards the devious plot at hand and further confusing the potions master's part in all this. However, the whole joke about walking in on private moments feels a little off the point for the series. After all, aren't these meant to be school children? For that reason, it's probably best this scene was left out (although cut the horseplay and it may have worked).
