15 Awful Films Justice League Actors Want You To Forget
5. Kangaroo Jack (2003) - Michael Shannon
RottenTomatoes Score: 8% The Plot: Two childhood friends (Jerry O'Connell and Anthony Anderson) are under the thumb of a powerful mobster (Christopher Walken), and while delivering $50,000 to Australia, end up with the money stolen by a kangaroo. Yup. Why It Sucks: The kangaroo figures very little in the movie (and only talks during a dream sequence), so the movie's whole marketing campaign was a misleading effort to trick kids into going to see it. It's also full of sexual innuendo which feels wildly inappropriate given the family film label. Shannon plays Walken's mobster apprentice, and he tries his hardest to sell the material, no matter how awful it is or how regrettable appearing in this film is now that he's a thoroughly respected actor.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
