4. National Lampoon's Movie Madness (1982) - Diane Lane

RottenTomatoes Score: 0% The Plot: National Lampoon's second movie, a three-part anthology satirising film genres such as the schmaltzy family drama and cop stories, with Lane appearing in the first segment, "Growing Yourself", in which a man (Peter Riegert) kicks his wife out of the house in order to "grow" as a person. Why It Sucks: Luckily for Lane, she only appears briefly as one of the women Riegert's character brings back to his home to hook up with, and she's pretty cute, but the rest of the movie appears to just get progressively worse as each new, desperate short is presented. National Lampoon's movies are pretty hit-and-miss as it stands anyway, and this is a firm testament to why: they fling so much ridiculousness at the screen that only so much of it is going to stick. These shorts are all low on wit, directorial flair and acting talent, so it never really had a chance.
