15 Awful Films Justice League Actors Want You To Forget
14. Camp Hell (2010) - Jesse Eisenberg
RottenTomatoes Score: 50% (from just four reviews) The Plot: At Camp Hope, a retreat for fundamentalist Christian children, an evil presence pervades due to the head priest's teachings focusing on sin rather than redemption. Why It Sucks: The movie's advertising heavily implied that Eisenberg was the star of the movie, but he's actually only in an opening scene for about two minutes to set things up. Eisenberg did the cameo as a favour for a buddy, but when Lionsgate began exploiting his impending Social Network success, he sued them for $3 million in damages. As for the film itself? Despite an R-rating it's a pretty tame affair and not really very scary at all. The plot's dull, characters are cardboard and nobody's really trying very hard performance-wise (who can blame them?). Fortunately for Eisenberg he's only in it for a cup of coffee, but even so. there are millions of Camp Hell DVDs out there with his face plastered on the cover.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
