15 Awful Films Terminator Actors Want You To Forget
7. Sabotage (2014) - Sam Worthington
RottenTomatoes Score: 19% The Plot: Members of a corrupt DEA task forced all find themselves being killed off one by one, and as the numbers dwindle, it's up to leader John "Breacher" Wharton (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to find out who's behind it before time runs out. Why It Sucks: Talk about a disappointment. With a strong cast including Olivia Williams, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Harold Perrineau, Josh Holloway and Mireille Enos, not to mention solid writer-director David Ayer tackling things behind the camera, Sabotage had so much potential to be a riveting thriller. The end result? A strangely generic slasher film crossed with a strangely generic cop thriller. Schwarzenegger does well enough in an against-type role, but the film just doesn't try anywhere near hard enough to work: it's rife with hilarious cliches, terrible dialogue and awkward banter that makes you wonder how a writer as usually solid as Ayer could just churn it out. As for old Worthers, he certainly has an interesting look for this movie, but like everyone else, he's at the mercy of an airless, tedious script.
