13. I, Frankenstein (2014) - Jai Courtney

RottenTomatoes Score: 3% The Plot: An adaptation of Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel, in which Frankenstein's monster (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in a war between two modern-day supernatural factions, the demons and the gargoyles. Why It Sucks: For starters, it thoroughly wastes the brilliant Eckhart in the lead role, and from first minute to last, it's an overly self-serious schlock-fest full of terrible CGI, giggle-worthy dialogue and a borderline nonsensical plot. Though Bill Nighy provides a few laughs with his wildly hammy performance (he clearly knows what type of movie he's in), Courtney is woefully unconvincing as gargoyle army leader Gideon, resulting in a villain about as generic as they come. On the plus side, the film was a box office bomb and came out in January, so basically nobody saw it anyway.
