15 Awful Films The Avengers Actors Want You To Forget

2. National Lampoon's Senior Trip (1995) - Jeremy Renner

RottenTomatoes Score: 0% The Plot: Misfit leaders Mark "Dags" D'Agastino (Jeremy Renner) and Reggie Barry (Rob Moore) get everyone detention after throwing a party at Principal Moss' (Matt Frewer) house. As revenge, he forces them to write a letter to the President of the United States about education reforms, but when the President loves what they wrote, they've invited to Washington for a field trip. Hi-jinks ensue. Why It Sucks: While it's worth cutting Jeremy Renner some slack because this was his first ever movie role at the tender age of 23, it pretty much proved from the outset that he's not leading man material, and much better-suited to supporting-type roles. That's not to say that Renner's completely useless as a comic character (hell, he proved his chops again in Avengers: Age of Ultron), but the script doesn't give him much of genuine amusement to do, and despite some passable cast chemistry, they're all left stranded without a solid foundation. On the plus side, now that Renner's a household name, the film is always going to have a certain entertainment value at seeing him so young, with...that haircut.
