15 Best Alien Movie Deaths

4. Pvt. Vasquez/Lt. Gorman (Aliens)

Alien 3 Ripley
20th Century Fox

When it comes to going out with a bang, Vasquez and Gorman have it covered with the definitive explosive last stand of the franchise. In taking multiple alien warriors down with them, the two exit the stage on their own volition, refusing to be taken alive to suffer the torment of so many others.

In a mirror of Captain Dallas’ famously doomed expedition into the vents, Vasquez and Gorman find themselves facing an incoming assault with no possible escape in close quarters.

The urgent crimson lighting perfectly complements the hellish carnage of the situation, as the two fight tooth and nail in exhausting their ammunition on the mounting waves of Xenomorphs that are quickly surrounding them. It’s a visual spectacle of havoc - as well as a classic action scenario.

Having the initially overwhelmed, cowardly Gorman of all people attempt to rescue the cornered, wounded Vasquez makes for a cinematic last stand of redemption that doesn’t disappoint - the final explosion in the vent appeasing all aficionados of action.

Take a note on what it means to be the ultimate badass, Hudson - if you currently have a hand free.
