Many people will spend much of their free time watching Jennifer Aniston on Netflix. However, rather than watching her love/hate Ross repeatedly in Friends, why not see her minor yet hilarious role in 2011s Horrible Bosses.

This black comedy starring Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman follows three friends who for different reasons want to kill their boss. Naturally, unsuccessful murder attempts and mayhem follow.

Whilst some critics felt that some of the jokes failed to land due to being overly offensive, the premise and the strong performances elevate Horrible Bosses, making it and its sequel thoroughly watchable.

A dark premise is lightened by a well-constructed cast and Day’s breakout role.
