15 Best Movies That Scored 0% On Rotten Tomatoes
13. Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (1987)
This "sequel" to the 1984 holiday-themed cult classic horror film almost didn't make this list, because around 40% of its 88-minute runtime is actually composed of recycled footage from the first movie, re-purposed here as flashbacks.
However, the movie is distinguished as an early example of so-bad-it's-good cinema penetrating the bubble of cult movie fandom and actually becoming a more widespread Internet phenomenon. The infamous "Garbage day!" scene became an Internet meme in the mid-2000s, regardless of the fact that most people who enjoyed and shared the clip have never dared watch the whole film.
This sequence in particular and Eric Freeman's generally hilarious, over-the-top performance combine to make the film quite the chuckle-fest when it's not busy cribbing from its predecessor.
I mean, how can you hate a movie where a guy gets stabbed to death with an umbrella?
