1. Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Blade Runner
Warner Bros.

When first released in 1982, Blade Runner's distant future of 2019 seemed a long way off. In 2020 the movie's world seems very familiar but it also feels both retro and futuristic at the same time, almost like an alternative reality that played out differently to our own.

The special effects that bring Ridley Scott's dystopian wonderland to life, gritty and familiar yet otherworldly, somehow remain credible nearly 40 years later.

The slow pacing and ambiguous story have always been divisive and the sheer variety of different cuts has led to heated arguments over which is the definitive version.

"The Final Cut" aims to end the debate once and for all. It's a beautifully remastered version of a true classic.
