8. Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn)
Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn got her long overdue chance to shine when she headlined the ridiculously fun Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) earlier this year.
A superhero movie designed purely for the enjoyment of audiences, the film makes great use of some of the most underappreciated aspects of DC Comics lore. Furthermore, it's a starring role for the one silver lining in the reviled Suicide Squad and that, more than anything, makes it worth your time.
Is the film a little light on the plot? Sure. Could it have done with more of the actual Birds of Prey? Absolutely! But it's a lot of fun in spite of its few shortcomings and the performances from Robbie, Ewan McGregor, Rosie Perez and Jurnee Smollet-Bell's Black Canary are nothing short of captivating.
Here's hoping we see all of these characters return to the big screen in the future.
