1. Shuri
Shuri is a new figure in the MCU, making her first appearance in last year's Black Panther. She may be new, but she already holds the title of top scientist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You don't even have to take our word for this one. Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers are all on record saying the young princess is the most intelligent character in the world to date.
Most characters on this list have been the head of a research division or the founder of a corporation. While those things are objectively impressive, none have come close to leading the technological infrastructure of an entire country. That country just so happens to be Wakanda, the most advanced nation on Earth.
A seemingly unlimited supply of vibranium has let Wakanda make technology leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the world. Shuri is personally responsible for most of the Wakandan tech we've seen, including EMP beads, sonic stabilizers and her panther gauntlets. Shuri is still just a teenager, but she knows more than anyone else about all things vibranium.
With the release of character posters for Avengers: Endgame it was revealed that Shuri was a victim of the Decimation. The Avengers could sure use her brains in the fight against Thanos, but we're sure we haven't seen the last of Shuri's intellect.
