5. Deadpool (Deadpool)

After the rage-inducing abomination that was the "Barakapool" costume in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, fans were finally treated to a comic-faithful Deadpool suit in his 2016 solo movie.

Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller reportedly fought hard against Fox to ensure the suit was as accurate as possible, while still having a distinct look of its own.

The real coup de grace here is that the suit's lack of a mouth allowed Reynolds and Miller to pipe whatever dialogue they wanted into Deadpool's mouth, letting them add extra dialogue in post-production and basically craft the funniest film possible as a result.

While the suit isn't particularly complicated, it's sleek, functional and perfectly suited to the motormouth sensibilities of both the actor and the character inside it.
