Disney have had some of the biggest successes of the entire decade. Between their remakes, the MCU instalments and Pixar tentpoles, they've raked in the money. With all those big hitters though, it's easy to forget that they've suffered just as many stinkers.

You might have noticed they've cropped up a fair few times on this list so far, but their worst performer - and one of the biggest box-office bombs of all time - was 2012's John Carter.

A planned saga, Disney pumped $262 million into the project in the hopes of attracting audiences with a grand CGI spectacle, making it one of the most expensive films ever at the time. Sadly, the money spent didn't translate to money earned, and the box-office receipts amounted to just over its production budget.

All in all, Disney took a $200 million hit on the film, and it changed their entire plan for the rest of the decade.
