A Quiet Place was one of the most surprising hits of 2018, with The Office's John Krasinski delivering one of the best and most inventive horror movies of the year. It was such a success, in fact, that it's getting a sequel.

It's unclear right now what the story will be, but the film ends on a somewhat ambiguous note. As Evelyn (Emily Blunt) figures out the key weaknesses of the monsters, she reloads her shotgun and prepares to take on all comers.

It's a badass ending, although there's a concern that the sheer numbers might overwhelm her, even with the new advantage she has. Krasinski has said the sequel will follow different survivors, and it's unclear whether or not Blunt herself will return, meaning Evelyn and her kids' fates may well be left up to the imagination.
