Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse introduces a LOT of different Spider-Men, -Women, and, er, -Hams, but one of the best is saved for the post-credits scene. Taking a jump forward to the future, we meet Miguel O'Hara, otherwise known as Spider-Man 2099 and voiced by none other than Oscar Isaac.

It's a great sequence, not just for the fun and the visuals - and for putting a new spin on THAT Spidey meme - but for what it might mean. With Spider-Man 2099 seemingly aware of what's been going on in Spider-Verse, and the presence of Alchemax in his timeline, there are some big connections to the mian movie that should prove fertile ground for the sequel.

While it's likely Miles Morales will remain as the focal point of the series, will '99 - and Isaac - return to have a much bigger role, or was this simply a one-off cameo for a bit of fun?
