15 So-Called 'Must See' Films In 2015 (That Might Actually Be Worth Watching)

12. Steve Jobs

Michael Fassbender Steve Jobs2The Hype: Danny Boyle directs a biopic of Apple's founder, working from a script written by Aaron Sorkin. Michael Fassbender plays Jobs, while the cast is rounded out by Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Katherine Waterston as Jobs' first wife, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Apple employee Andy Hertzfeld. Why It'll Probably Deliver: With a collective of talent this insanely strong, why wouldn't it succeed? Sorkin has such a penchant for writing brilliantly acerbic dialogue that there's little doubt he's come up with some fabulously rip-roaring lines for Fassbender and co. to tear through. Why It Might Not: Still, there have certainly been more than a few alarm bells ringing during the movie's protracted journey to start shooting. David Fincher quit directing the project due to apparent contractual issues, while Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio were both originally linked with the film before dropping out. Is this the sign of a script that isn't quite up to muster? Or will Danny Boyle prove this hassle worth it in the end?
