1. Wolverine - Logan
Why He Should Die
If there's any character on this list who would probably WELCOME death it's Wolverine, who appears to be heading even further down the road to hell for Logan. If the film is sticking to the source material even vaguely closely, it's likely he's one of only a few remaining mutants (and may have had some hand in their demise), and he's already been through a lot.
Death is actually the perfect resolution to Wolverine's arc: he's been forced to live through multiple tragedies - and then through the tragedy of being oblivious to them (which is arguably worse), and he's been largely unable to form any personal relationships because of who he is. It would be a great reflection to have him bond with X-23 (his clone) as a daughter and then die not only to give her some poetic symmetry to his origin, but also to end on a positive note.
How He'll Die
Inevitably, a moment of self-sacrifice to save X-23. Obviously his physiology poses a pretty pressing question when it comes to death, since he doesn't appear to be conventionally mortal, but genome mapping will inevitably lead to some of the secrets within him being uncovered. Or even more poetically, his own genetic material being used against him and his head being irreversibly removed using Adamantium.
