13. The Jackson Pollock Joke - Guardians Of The Galaxy
Once aboard Peter Quill aka Star-Lord's (Chris Pratt) ship The Milano, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) berates Quill for the unpleasantness of his ship, to which he replies, "She has no idea. If I had a blacklight, this place would look like a Jackson Pollock painting." Yep, Guardians of the Galaxy, along with being the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to feature an anthropomorphic raccoon and a gigantic tree monster, is also the first one to include a joke about semen. Quill is obviously referring to the fact that he's a promiscuous sort and has spilled plenty of his love juice over his living quarters during his time, a joke that, due to the niche nature of Pollock's painting work, will fly completely over the heads of young children, while adults will no doubt find themselves both shocked and extremely amused at the perverse nature of the gag.
