15 Crazy Facts You Just Have To Accept To Enjoy The Marvel Cinematic Universe
15. Loki Is A Better Character Than Thor
It became evident pretty early on during Thor that the Asgardian's half-brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was an infinitely more entertaining character than the titular protgonist. This was cemented in The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World, which milked the character's delicious villainy, and by comparison, Chris Hemsworth's beefed-up demi-God just wasn't anywhere near as fun to watch (by no fault of Hemsworth's, mind). What Can Be Done About It?: The simple solution would be to scale back Hiddleston's appearances in future films, which seems to be happening anyway: he won't be in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Hiddleston himself hasn't got a clue when he'll be appearing on our screens next as the God of Mischief. Still, given how elemental Loki is to forging the Asgardian aspect of the MCU, it would be a major mistake not to bring him back for Thor 3. Who else can pull off such a delightfully cheeky grin while plotting world domination?
