Film: The Incredibles It looks as though Mr Incredible can travel in time, more specifically, 40 years into the future. We all know that the Incredibles is set in the 1960s, albeit an alternative 1960s to our history, yet one of the newspaper clippings in his office is dated in 2002. The headline 'Incredible Rescue At Sea' is the one dated 2002.
