7. The One And Only Ivan

On 14th August 2020, 20th Century Studios will release a live action/CGI hybrid adaptation of Katherine Applegate's children's book The One And Only Ivan. After living in captivity for so long, the titular character has never really thought of his time outside his cell, until he strikes an unlikely friendship with a baby elephant, Ruby.

Sam Rockwell voices Ivan with Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, and Danny DeVito also voicing character. Joining them in human form will be Bryan Cranston and The Walking Dead's Eleanor Matsuura.

Thea Sharrock will direct, following her successful debut, Me Before You. Who doesn't love anthropomorphic animals plotting escape from captivity?
