7. Katie Holmes (Worst Supporting Actress - Batman Begins)

There is certainly an argument to be made that Katie Holmes was miscast as Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins: she never really carries herself with the strident confidence one would expect from an assistant district attorney, and she brought a ton of the Dawson's Creek baggage with her.

Even so, it's hard to call her performance terrible or even bad: she tries her best and doesn't distract from the rest of the movie at all, but the Razzies singled her out anyway.

What's even worse about this nomination is that she was the only real actress to be nominated that year, landing a nod alongside Carmen Elektra (Dirty Love), Ashlee Simpson (Undiscovered), Jessica Simpson (Jessica Simpson) and eventual winner Paris Hilton (House of Wax). Ouch.
