9. Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes - "I NEED TO SPEAK TO CAESAR!"

In a tremendously moody and atmospheric teaser trailer that shows a run-down world being dominated by the war between humans and apes, Jason Clarke demands to speak to a CGI Andy Serkis, otherwise known as the true legend of the apes, the leader of the revolution, mentioned in all of the films from the iconic franchise, and best portrayed in 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The camera slowly zooms out to reveal the extremely p****d off looking Caesar being flanked by other angry apes whilst listening to a rant from the terrific Gary Oldman, just before signalling his primate brethren to lead an attack, and then cuts out to leave us all on the edge of our seats begging for more. Short and sweet, not showing too much (although a newer, longer trailer will inevitably be released relatively soon) but still building up the ante for its summer release - prepare to go ape!
