8. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Easter Eggs Galore

It's not uncommon for superhero films to plant in easter eggs to get geeks frothing from their faces, excited by the prospects of what the inevitable sequels are going to deliver, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is no different. In fact, it has so many, it seems as if it's taking the biscuit. Most of the easter eggs concern potential future villains for the franchise. In a tracking shot we see Doctor Octopus' tentacles (how can Alfred Molina's performance be topped?) and the Vulture's wings (about time!). Also, for the big nerds that don't miss a trick (or the people who possess the power of the Internet), there are file entries for both Venom (recently confirmed to be getting his own spin-off film) and Dr. Morbius (horror Spider-Man, anyone?). The trailer looks like it may be an even more impressive affair than the adequate 2012 prequel, showing off some fantastic visuals, excellent action set-pieces, and its host of villains. Not only this, but the fact that a third film has already been confirmed for a 2016 release (rumour has it that Spider-Man will be fighting off the Sinister Six) is exciting news, as Sony seems to be developing a grand master plan that will hopefully all merge into one epic superhero story to give The Avengers a run for their money.
