15 Essential Batman Villains Not Yet Used In The Movies

6. Mad Hatter

Why He's Awesome

The Mad Hatter is obviously obsessed with Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland, which has made his stories as striking as it's made him ridiculous. For that reason, he's never really been up with the top level villains, and is rarely considered among Batman's more powerful villains.

What he does have in his armoury though is his insanity. His crimes - kidnapping young blonde girls and using the mind control technology in his hats - are incredibly creepy and would lend themselves perfectly to a more procedural Batman detective movie, asking Batman to flex his intellect more than his muscles.

Just imagine it as Se7en with Bruce Wayne following the trail and having to come to terms with a villain capable of invading and controlling his mind. That's something we've not seen before.

How Likely Is He?

Unless Tim Burton can be convinced to make another Batman film, it's unlikely he'll appear. He's just way too weird. 1/10
