15 Fantastically Offensive Movie Characters

9. Champ Kind (Anchorman)

anchorman-2-gets-the-green- (He's the one with the cowboy hat) In fairness, any member of the Channel 4 News Team could have found themselves in this spot. The misogynistic attitude of the quintet (okay, maybe we can excuse Brick!) is the driving force of Adam McKay's hugely popular 2001 comedy. In my opinion however, Champ Kind's (Sports... naturally) downright materialistic opinion of women is the most offensive to... well women. His poor attempt to win over Veronica Corningstone leaves the menfolk cringing, laughing and the women, well cringing and laughing because it is a hilarious scene. It does however, leave the female characters raging with fury at the blatant lack of respect towards their gender and causes the beginnings of a fracture within the San Diego News Studio. And to demonstrate my point... "What do you say if we go out on a date? Have some chicken, maybe some sex... You know, see what happens." - You had me at chicken Champ!
