10. General Aladeen (The Dictator)
One of the most politically incorrect characters of modern cinema, Sacha Baron Cohen's idea of a Middle Eastern dictator is crass, crude and unfortunately, very unfunny. Cohen's vehicle is way off the mark with what passes as political satire (and for those who argue its not meant to be - it's not slapstick funny either) and instead, chooses to rely on cheap terrorist gags and tasteless mickey taking on aspects of Muslim culture. This is one of the few characters on this list that managed to offend me as well as the characters... Its not that I have a stick up my ass on cross-cultural comedies. East is East and Four Lions are fantastically funny films done with great taste and great humor. The Dictator? Well its just a bad film.
And to demonstrate my point... "Oh it's a girl. I'm so sorry. Where's the trashcan?" - forgive me if I don't LOL.
