15 Films Audiences Got Right (But Critics Got Wrong)

No, you're not hallucinating. Indiana Jones 4, which not only rivals The Phantom Menace as the most hated film ever made, but is one of the worst blockbusters of all time, has a rating of 77% on RT.

How did this happen?!

Still, critics should not be judged at all and it must be remembered that this rating is out of date. Critical reaction was initially mixed among audiences and more positive among critics before turning very negative later on and all those four-star reviews would probably be much more negative now.

What often happens with a disappointing film such as this is that one might convince themselves that the film wasn't a disappointment since the idea of repeating the trauma of the Star Wars Prequels is truly nightmarish. We've all done it before and this is (probably) what happened here. The main backlash seemed to start a little later on.

Still, audiences did a great job at recognizing just how badly-written, unexciting, poorly-made and soulless this hideous train-wreck was. It is a dire movie on every level and if critics re-rated this, it would definitely get a rotten rating.

Should Be Rated: Below 20%.
