The Movie: A tale of two brothers’ descent into neo-Nazism, this raw as hell film earned Edward Norton an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Derek, the older brother, who ends up second in command of a neo-Nazi gang.

The Legendary Scene: While having sex with his girlfriend, Derek learns of some Crip members breaking into his truck. Derek goes nuts and kills one of the thieves with gunfire. And then in a startling moment of egregious violence, he curb stomps another one of the thieves.

The truly nauseating aspect of this infamous moment isn’t the visual representation, but rather the noises. The sound of the ill-fated car jacker placing his teeth on the concrete curb right before having the back of his head stamped on is easily one of the most cringe-worthy in all of cinema.

There are only two ways a person can sit through this scene without either shutting their eyes or covering them with their hands: They're either blind or their eye-lids are propped open Clockwork Orange style. Otherwise, they're one desensitized son of a you-know-what.
