12. World War Z
Most of the films on this list I'm expecting to be of high quality and end up earning a spot in my home video collection. Others are here more out of curiosity than anything else. Brad Pitt's zombie adventure World War Z is one of those films. The production woes are well-documented, most infamously the seven-week reshoot period last fall after a complete rewriting of the movie's third act. World War Z has also gone out of its way to distance itself from the original source material and be more of a generic "hero in a race against time" action picture as opposed to socio-political commentary that was a big part of Max Brooks' novel. The trailers released have only generated a mixed response as it looks like it could be just another forgettable summer movie. Still, Pitt rarely does these types of projects, so it's obvious something in its potential caught his eye. Whether or not it's ultimately successful remains to be seen. World War Z is one of the biggest wild cards of 2013 and it'll be interesting to see the final product.

I spend most of my free time either reading about upcoming movies, watching movies, or going to the movie theater. I enjoy watching all types of films from summer blockbusters to Oscar contending dramas. I am also a huge sports fan, rooting for the New York Giants, Knicks, and Yankees
