9. The Front Runner (2018)

Not content with releasing one movie already this year, Jason Reitman is currently prepping The Front Runner, a biographical dark comedy about Gary Hart's 1988 presidential campaign, for release in November. No doubt looking to nab a few award nominations, the first look at the movie unveiled Hugh Jackman in full costume as Hart, seemingly neck-deep in the love-affair scandal that derailed his promising run for president.

Though he's consistently put out great work, Reitman hasn't had a solid hit in a while, but that could all change if The Front Runner ends up being as good as it looks.
