Chris Rock's unexpectedly brilliant comedy Top Five features a scene that's not just one of the year's funniest scenes, but also one of the most wince-inducing. After reporter Chelsea (Rosario Dawson) realises that her boyfriend Brad (Anders Holm) has been gay the whole time, she begins to reflect with Andre (Rock) on all the signs that she chose to overlook. Namely, Brad loved having a finger put up his butt during sex, and Chelsea then relays to Andre a story where, after Brad insulted her at dinner, when they went home for make-up sex and Brad got on all fours for the usual butt play, she covered a tampon in hot sauce and shoved it up his a**. The result? Just as you'd expect: Brad writhes around in uncontrollable agony, and the audience themselves probably aren't far off either.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
