15 Greatest Dying Words Of Iconic Movie Characters

11. Spock - Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Khan

Paramount PicturesParamount PicturesThe Line: "I have been and always shall be your friend...Live long and prosper." How He Dies: Spock (Leonard Nimoy) earns one of the most bada** deaths in sci-fi movie history by restoring power to the Enterprise's warp drive, though by doing so exposes himself to massive levels of radiation, leading to an emotional final reunion between the Vulcan and Captain Kirk (William Shatner). Spock begins to succumb to radiation poisoning inside the engine room as, on the other side of the protective glass, Kirk can only look on in horror. Spock makes a Vulcan salute on the glass as he lets out his iconic final words, before Kirk also places his hand on the glass and Spock promptly expires. Though the moment may lose a little of its impact considering that Spock is resurrected in the next film, there's no denying the emotion of Spock's final speech, those classic words taking on greater meaning than they ever have before. Hell, even Shatner can't screw the scene up...
