How He Dies: Another character given a severe boost in popularity by his dying words is Jurassic Park's game warden, Robert Muldoon (Bob Peck). Muldoon is expertly hunting a raptor, quietly training his sights on the creature when, to his surprise, a second raptor emerges out of the bushes. All Muldoon has time to do is utter his witty one-liner and then wait for the raptor to strike, mauling him to death before he can even turn to shoot his gun. Muldoon could easily have been relatively forgettable raptor fodder, but this ridiculously bada** one-liner seals his legendary cinematic status forever more: the fact that he puts fear aside and calmly demonstrates admiration for the raptor's cunning is the epitome of courage under fire. That said, if he'd spent those two seconds turning and shooting rather than talking, maybe he would have survived to tell the tale. So popular and well-known are Muldoon's dying words that they've even taken on their own
meme status in recent years.
