15 Greatest Fictional Bands Of All Time
11. The Weird Sisters (from Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire)
Hey, remember that time members of legendary alternative bands Pulp and Radiohead got together to form an under-the-radar supergroup for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? That sure was unexpectedly weird and delightful.
Although never officially introduced in the film as The Weird Sisters due to a real-life licensing dispute between the studio and Canadian folk group The Wyrd Sisters, it's pretty obvious to anyone who read the books that Jarvis Cocker, Johnny Greenwood, and company are portraying that group.
Hogwarts' Yule Ball certainly gets kicked up a few notches when these wizard rockers are introduced, and anyone not completely ravaged of their souls by dementors should be able to appreciate their energetic jams.
Best Song: "This Is the Night"
Apologies to any "Do the Hippograff" fans out there, but the slinky, art rock vibe of "This Is the Night" feels more natural in the hands of these Pulp and Radiohead members than the doomy goth rock of "Hippograff".
