15 Harry Potter Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

1. Albus Dumbledore

Severus Snape Goblet Of Fire

Dumbledore has appeared in every single Harry Potter movie, even after his demise in the Half-Blood Prince, has been a part of the Fantastic Beasts franchise in Crimes of Gindelwald, and looks set to have a big role in the series moving forward. However, there is still a lot of story that could be told.

While we will see more of his relationship with the villainous Grindelwald in further Fantastic Beasts movies, the earliest we have seen of Dumbledore is in his 40s, but what about his childhood and his time at Hogwarts?

Albus' early years were haunted by tragedy, as his sister was attacked by muggles, leading his father to respond in kind and earn himself a one way ticket to Azkaban in the process. Ariana was left mentally scarred, and the reputation of his father followed him to Hogwarts as many believed him to hate muggles.

Aside from this there would be the opportunity to tell of how the great wizard met and was initially influenced by Grindelwald, and the Hogwarts teachers who helped mould the young Dumbledore to become the legendary magician that he did.

This is the greatest wizard of his generation, and he deserves to have his full story told.
