15 Harry Potter Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

12. Teddy Lupin

Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks were two of the most integral members of the second iteration of the Order of the Phoenix, and both fought valiantly in the Battle of Hogwarts. However, both witch and wizard perished in the fight, breaking the hearts of audiences everywhere.

What makes this even more horrible is that Lupin and Tonks had a small son at the time of their death. Though an actor was cast to portray Teddy in Deathly Hallows Part II, his scenes were ultimately cut, relegating the character to nothing more than being briefly mentioned by Remus to Harry.

Though the character's name was little more than an easter egg for fans of the books in the movies, Teddy was a successful student at Hogwarts, being sorted into Hufflepuff and rising to the rank of Head Boy, and though he did not inherit his father's lycanthropy, he was a metamorphmagus like his mother.

As the son of two such incredible characters, there would surely be no shortage of stories to tell. Teddy seemingly combines the backstories of both Harry and Neville, in that both his parents were killed when he was a child, and he was ultimately brought up by his grandmother, and would likely grow to be a great wizard just like his godfather, Harry Potter.
