Not to be confused with Paddington, this team-up of Ray Romano and Mark Duplass (who also co-wrote with director Alex Lehmann) looks like the kind of low-fi Netflix comedy that lands well with audiences.

It follows the pair as misfit neighbours who develop a bromance when one of them is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Instead of wallowing, the pair play a made-up racquet sport called Paddleton and go on a trip before he decides to take his own life on his terms. It looks gentle, funny and devastating.
