It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia has been known for pushing buttons since its inception. With a truncated first season alone watching the Gang tackle race, homophobia, abortion and child abuse, the show-- now just having wrapped its 8th season-- always manages to shock viewers with more disgusting and depraved depths of hilarity. In the premiere episode of its 7th season, viewers were surprised to see Mac-- the group's wannabe jock meathead-- had gained a whopping 50 pounds over the show's sabattical. And the reason? Actor Rob McElhenney thought it would be funny. True commitment to the craft.
