Try to forget that there were ever sequels to this film and remember just how good it was when we first saw it. This is a film that not only has remarkable characters and a deft comedic touch, but also one that was so fresh and well made that it won a Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy despite being way more vulgar than anything that had won before it. The Hangover is a non stop riot of hilariously inventive scenes that include everything from a tiger to Mike Tyson to an unforgettable gangster. The main cast is the most memorable of any recent comedy, with Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis being the standouts. The Hangover remains a remarkably vibrant film that never ceases to entertain, that its sequels largely repeated the same gags shouldn't take anything away from how good the original was the first time around.
