The "Plot Hole": So, Marty travels to 1955 and spends a bunch of time with his parents, ensuring that they do indeed get together so he can actually be born.

Back in 1985 at the end of the movie, everything seems fine, but why don't Marty's parents (George in particular) seem at least slightly weirded-out that Marty bears a seemingly uncanny resemblance to their old high school pal "Calvin Klein"?

Why It Actually Isn't: This one has an incredibly simple solution: how many people you knew for mere days 30 years ago are you likely to remember today, especially without having a picture for posterity?

Even though this was a pivotal time in George and Lorraine's lives, Marty's face would've long-faded in their memories, and even if the thought did occur to them, they'd probably dismiss it as a coincidence.

One suspects this plot hole is mostly raised by younger people, because the middle-aged crowd definitely gets it.
