15 Insufferable Movie Protagonists That Ruined Their Movies

2. Lenny, Eric, Kurt And Marcus - Grown Ups 2

Bella Swan

In the infamous opening of Grown Ups 2, a deer urinates all over Lenny's (Adam Sandler) face. It's an awful opening but it's also satisfying, since at least Lenny gets what he deserves.

These four men are simply awful. A group of lazy, rude, immature, shallow, selfish, misogynistic, homophobic and repulsive man-childs, these guys are more unlikable than many actual film antagonists, which is impressive, though not in a good way.

They insult virtually everyone they encounter, they start mocking an old classmate's baldness after he amiably greets them in K-Mart, they anxiously go to Lenny's daughter's ballet recital to ogle the ballet teacher (in one of the most uncomfortably sexist film scenes of recent years) and, worst of all, they repeatedly make fun of and mistreat Nick Swardson's bus driver character, who's implied to have schizophrenia.

Grown Ups 2 doesn't actually have a plot; it's just these four men wandering around their town mucking about and being d**ks. Thus, while Grown Ups 2 is supposed to be a lighthearted summer comedy, since we're spending an entire film with such awful characters it feels more like a horror movie.

This is one of the worst movies ever made.
